UA General President McManus Tours Encore Boston Harbor with J.C. Higgins

On Thursday, July 19th, UA General President Mark McManus, representing the Pipefitters, Plumbers & Sprinkler Pipefitters of the United States & Canada, toured the Encore Boston Harbor luxury resort and casino project site in Everett, Massachusetts with J.C. Higgins and local union officials.

J.C. Higgins CEO & President, Bob Gallagher, J.C. Higgins Pipefitter Project Superintendent, Don Moccia, and J.C. Higgins Pipefitter Project Foremen, Dean Harding and Steve Parsons led the group through the project's Central Utility Plant, Podium Floor and Convention Space.

The Encore Boston Harbor has been described by Wynn Resorts as the largest private single-phase construction project in the history of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  The development is located on a 33-acre parcel of land previously used for industrial purposes along the Mystic River.
